Welcome to our Open Kart Practice Day! We will be hosting practice on our Wilson Circuit for Karting. Come enjoy the day with us and improve your skills on track.
We offer spots for all karts. This includes:
• Kid Kart, Cadet Kart, Junior through Masters karts
• LO206, KA100, and other engine makes including “shifter engines”
•Motorcycles under 600cc with street / road course tires. No stubby tires are permitted. In addition, the driver must have full protective gear including riding goggles if your helmet does not have a shield.
We will alternate sessions if multiple incompatible classes are present and give an equal amount of time and opportunity to get on track. Basic flag knowledge is recommended as we will utilize the yellow, red, and checker flag at the Start / Finish line (checker at the end of each session, yellow and red if applicable). A crew member may be present with the driver for assistance.
Each participant and guest will need to fill out a facility waiver prior to entering. After entering the facility, proceed to the Wilson Circuit, straight ahead and to your right, to be signed in for practice and collect your NKA wristband and, if this is your first time out this season, a tech sticker for your helmet.
All karts and motorcycles need to have a Tech Form completed prior to going on track. These forms will be turned in to the grid attendant. These will be required daily.
When you paddock, please select a spot by the karting garages and karting buildings only, if you are parked in an unauthorized zone, you will be kindly asked to relocate. Do not move any barrels or ropes to create a new spot. Please, do not park next to the Fenced-off electrical box.
If you are practicing in a kart, please push your kart onto false grid. Do not drive your kart onto grid or through the paddock, as this is a safety issue.
Minors are not permitted to use scooters, bikes, hoverboards, skateboards and all similar modes of transportation in the paddock.
Anyone using a golf cart, moped, scooter, and similar modes of transportation is required to have their state issued driver’s license.
Practice time is subject to change. Make sure to check the Alpha registration page frequently to ensure there has not been a change made prior to your visit. No adjustments to fees will be made for days with affected times.
If you cancel 48 hours before the start time of practice, you will be issued a full refund. If a cancellation is requested within the 48 hour window, credit will be issued. If no cancellation is performed, you will not be issued a refund or credit.
